I'm a total beginner. Can I join?

Yes! This course is designed for complete beginners. Even if you can’t read any kana (Japanese alphabets) yet. You’ll learn practical, everyday Japanese phrases step by step, using materials that include romaji to support your reading.

When does the next course start?

The course starts on 21 January at 9 AM (Japan Time), which is (4 PM on 20 January in PST). We will have 8 lessons.

Which course should I take?

Core Japanese is a structured course that builds up your grammar and conversation step by step.

Everyday Japanese focuses on useful phrases and topics for daily life and casual conversation.

Feel free to join either one (or both!) depending on your goals. If you're not sure which course to take, feel free to ask through the inquiry form.

What if I miss a class?

We will record a class if a student can't attend, and share the replay so you can catch up!

Do I have to show my face during lessons?

You're welcome to keep your camera on for smoother communication, but it's totally okay if you prefer not to. We want you to feel comfortable when you speak Japanese!

Can I join the lessons from my phone?

Yes, you can join from your phone. A computer might be a bit easier to use, but many students have joined from their phones without any issues.
