Having lived in Australia, she’s comfortable supporting you in English too. Kaoru enjoys fun, relaxed conversations and helping students use grammar naturally while speaking.

Warm and encouraging, Kokoro loves cheering her students on—expect plenty of praise and zero judgment! Trained in TESOL and language coaching, she shares practical self-study tips to help you keep progressing between lessons. Having lived in five countries (the US, Finland, Switzerland, Ireland, and Australia), she brings a rich, global perspective to her classes. Drawing from her experience teaching English to Japanese speakers, she has a good sense of where English speakers tend to get tripped up in Japanese grammar.
